A travel certificate is a document that confirms that the employee is on a business trip and performs official orders. From January 8, 2015, according to the law, this document is considered not mandatory when applying for an employee on a business trip.
However, in many companies it is still used for the convenience of accounting. In this article we will tell you why you need a travel certificate in 2023 and how to draw it up correctly.
Why do you need a travel certificate?
If the company decides to send an employee on a business trip, then in addition to the order for a business trip, he will need to write a travel certificate for him.
This document is created on the basis of an order, prepares its employee of the personnel or accounting department. A travel certificate is the main document that confirms the legality of the employee’s stay outside the main place of his labor activity.
All travel certificates that are discharged in the company are registered in a special journal.
How to issue a travel certificate?
This document is executed using the form of the T-10 form. Before starting a business trip and serving an employee, you need to fill out the front side of the form. In particular, the employee filling out the following information:
- Name of the employee company;
- The number and date of the order on the business trip, on the basis of which the trip is made;
- FULL NAME, position, table number of a business employee;
- The destination of the trip is a company, settlement, region;
- The purpose of the trip;
- Passport data of the employee.
A travel certificate is printed in one copy and signed by the general director. Then they give them to the commissar – he must keep him with him during the trip, and upon returning to the personnel department or accounting.
Then the document is put on the document, the immediate supervisor of the employee signed.
Further, already during the trip, a businessed employee on the reverse side of the document puts information on arrival and departure in each location (if there are several) in the document. Information is included in the form on the dates, the name of organizations, they are collected by seals and signatures.
