How to get and where to live

What to do in Mumbai
Mumbai is one of the largest cities in India, spread out on the western coast of the country. Due to the fact that the city is currently the economic center of India, here you can see both the features of a developed metropolis and the original poor areas.
Fort
One of the most colorful areas of the city is Fort. Here old buildings, colonial architecture and the spirit of the once existing city of bombs are preserved.
The main attraction of the fort is the gates of India – a stone arch located on the embankment. A vast area spread out in front of the gate, on which a monument to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was erected.
Be sure to visit the Chkhatrapati Museum Shivaji Maharaja Vasta Sangrahalai. It occupies a building in the Indo-Saracensian style surrounded by gardens and flower beds. The museum halls represent expositions dedicated to culture and history, as well as ancient artifacts. Another remarkable monument is the statue of the Buddha head located in the garden.

Not far from the museum you will see an impressive hourly tower of Rajabai and a wonderful floral fountain.
Marin Drive
After a walk along the fort, go for a walk along Marin Drive – a four -kilometer embankment, with which amazing views of the Back and City bay are opened. It is especially great to walk here at sunset when the sun sits in the water of the bay.
Promenade starts from the Tata Theater Theater and runs to the beach of Gergaum Chopatti (Girgaum Chowpatty Beach).
CHOR BAZAR
Chor Bazar is the most famous market in which things are sold, antique objects and souvenirs. Come here to feel the spirit of the city and the rhythm of the life of citizens.
The market is located in the triangle between the streets MS Ali Road, PB Marg and 6th Kumbharwada. Walking around the bazaar, be vigilant and follow your personal things.
Elephant
Elephanta is a complex of ancient temples and caves, located on the island of Gharapuri near Mumbai. The most important attraction of the island is Elephant caves with cave paintings and sculptures. There is also a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva in the caves.
To get to the island, sit on a ferry moving away from the gate of India. The road will take about 1 hour, and along the way you can enjoy panoramas on Mumbai and nature. Arriving, go to the caves. From the pier to the caves you will get in 10 minutes on foot.
Not far from the caves, the picturesque park of Elephant Lack is broken.
Caves Kanhery
Kanheri caves are carved in the rocks of the National Park Sanji Gandhi. They have Buddhist temples and shrines with images of the Buddha.
To get to the caves, we advise you to use a taxi. A one -way trip will take about 30 minutes.
The cost of tickets will be 200 Inr (+ 53 Inr for entering the National Park).

Pagoda of the world vipasana
The global vipasana pagoda is a large -scale complex with an impressive dome and colorful sculptures. In the complex there is a center for meditation and an art gallery dedicated to the life of the Buddha.
It is most convenient to get to the pagoda by taxi. The road will take about 1 hour.
The entrance to the territory is free.
