For those who followed and across the metropolis on the border of Europe and Asia, or just wants to study the region of the region, we prepared a weekly route by car. Days 1-2. Saryer. Belgrade forest. Kilios

We leave Istanbul. Make sure to take the car in advance. The road to Kilios will take about an hour and a half.
The first stop is Saryer. Pure quiet beach, few tourists, Sadberk-Khan Museum and many naval restaurants. The place is famous for the fact that the view of the Turkish cake was invented here-the Saryer-Börek. Classic filling is a chopped lamb with nuts and raisins, but there are a lot of variations: from vegetables to legumes. Ln a snack or take on the road.
The next stop is the Belgrade Forest, located 20 minutes from Saryer. This beautiful natural object with an area of about 5500 hectares is ideal for lovers of hiking. Small lakes, a river, wooden bridges – landscapes here are bewitching. In the forest itself there are many parks with tables, picnic zones and playgrounds, so you should take a walk for several hours and stay there for lunch.
After lunch, go to Kilios. You will get in 40 minutes. This place is famous for its beaches, so upon arrival you should immediately go to the sea and spend a couple of hours on the sand, sunbathe, walk along the coast, and if the season allows you to swim. For the evening, leave a walk around the city and view the small ruins of the Kilios Kales castle.

Days 2-4. Shile and AGVA
It is worth waking up early. The next stop is the resorts of Shile and AGVA, famous for their sandy beaches, on which there are almost no tourists. Mostly there are local residents or owners of Will from Istanbul. Of the free, Kabakoz and Akchakes are good, if you decide to visit paid, you definitely are on Kumbaba beach. There are legends that even in Byzantine times, a chemist named Kumbab discovered the healing properties of sand from these places and used it to treat rheumatism. Both cities are surrounded by picturesque natural places: Kilim and Kadyrga bays, eleven lakes, a bride rock, hidden Lake Sakly, many waterfalls (for example, Hadzhili), ruins of churches and castles, a stalactite Gürlek cave, as well as various parks.
The path to Shile will take about an hour. This is the center of the district, a cozy, historical place. In the city itself, we advise you to take a walk, see the local mosque Akhmet Chavusha, the acting lighthouse and ruins of the medieval castle Shile, located on a small island near the marina. In the east of the city, you can visit the spring -crying rocks – the form of the breed resembles the face of a crying person.
From Shile to AGVA, go for about 40 minutes. AGVA is a smaller town. It is popular with its active types of relaxation: here you can go on boat excursions or surfing, rent water skis, bicycles, canoeing and ATVs. In addition, this place is known to their famous bazaar, in which residents trade in products of their own production.
From both towns, the distance to natural places and beaches is almost the same, therefore, depending on the type of rest you need, you can stop in any of them. Two nights are enough to visit all the picturesque corners and relax on the beach.

In the morning of the fourth day, go to the northern shore of Kodjaeli Province, to the village for yourself. It is worth leaving early – the day will be saturated. From Shile, the trip will take almost two hours, and from AGVA – a little more than an hour. From the sights of the city and nearby places – the ruins of the old lighthouse and the fortress, located on the small island of Kefken. You can get to it by boat from the beach yourself, where you can often meet the owners of water taxi. The island is also notable for beautiful rocks made of rare pink stone.
Then again on the road. The next stop will be the mountain resort of the crankcase. Here and we recommend stopping. Travel time from yourself – about an hour. The resort is at an altitude of 1600 meters and is popular with its ski routes, however, in the warm season there is something to see. For example, you can ride on ATVs or to mate on a canoe, climb the top on funicular or on foot, take a walk in the Wildlife Park of Orman.

Days 5-6. Lake Sapanja
On this day you can sleep longer. After breakfast, go to Lake Sapanja, located only 20 minutes from the crankcase. In the city of the same name, you can look at the historical mosque of Sultan Rahim. The most famous paths: from Sapanj to the village of Istanbulder, as well as through the Jigdem and Kirazles plateau.

Days 6-7. Yalova

Pay attention to the main street of Gazi-Pasha-here is the local bazaar and the former residence of Ataturk, which is now the museum. There are also many natural attractions behind the village: Erickley and Sidushen, Lake Iznik, and Kharmankaya Park.
The region is especially famous for its healing sources. The thermal complex “Yalova Termal” is located 12 kilometers from Yalova, many hotels are right on its territory. You can visit a resort with a pool and four types of baths without stopping at hotels located on its territory – it will even be cheaper.
