I have been slapping around Moscow mud for thirty -eight winters, and every time I am surprised at one phenomenon. In European capitals, falling snow is beautiful snowflakes and dry asphalt. Nobody washes the cars because they do not get dirty. And blue suede boots remain blue, even if you go through the whole city. Maybe there is not a real winter, but just a decoration for the winter Christmas fairy tale?

I have two children, and we love fairy tales. Emergency, adorned German towns with doll houses and paved paths – this is a real medieval fairy tale. And December is the best time to be there. The most beloved city is Nuremberg. From November 22 to December 24, there is a large Christmas bazaar – an incredible festive extravaganza with fragrant fried sausages, fragrant gingerbread, hot punch, carousel and winter entertainment for children.

In addition to the bazaar in Nuremberg there is a zoo with an impressive dolphin lagoon. These are as many as 5.3 million liters of salty water in a pool with a depth of 6 meters and an area of 1100 square meters. m. Dolphins and sea lions live there. A children’s railway passes through the zoo – past avliers with giraffes, under a dolphin lagoon and directly to the baby zoo, where you can feed and iron animals.

And, of course, – Spielzeugmuseum – Museum of toys! On the exhibition area of more than one and a half thousand square meters, unique old toys are collected. And on the top floor of the museum – modern toys. Here, children can play the giant designer LEGO, Barbie dolls, Playmobil sets and Matchbox machines.

After several unforgettable days in Nuremberg, we usually go to the Playmobil Funpark entertainment park. It is just half an hour from Nuremberg. Getting there is simple and cheap – by train, metro or city bus – no more than € 5 for adults and free for children under 15 years old.

By the way, I prefer the railway to the car. German trains are accurate, economical and comfortable. In addition, children under fifteen can ride for free. We always take the Nuremberg + Fürt card for € 25 by 2 days. The map gives free access to all museums and attractions, as well as travel by any transport in Nuremberg, Fürt and Stein. The card is free for children under 5 years of age, and from 6 to 11 years old – only € 5.

Go to the Christmas fairy tale together: “Flight + Hotel” from 11,000 rubles per person (2 nights)

And this is a valuable link for you: there are all the details about Nuremberg – about his parks, gardens and museums, as well as concerts, all kinds of shows and shopping.

See you in Nuremberg!
