Cyprus in November 2025 – Is it worth going on vacation? Weather and reviews, air and sea temperature, is it possible to swim and how to dress? Prices for hotels, excursions around the island, what to do and see in Cyprus during November – Eurotraveler has studied all the details.
Usually out of season Cyprus enjoys very limited demand. Both from Russian travelers and from representatives of all other nations. Not excluding the British, for whom a trip to a Mediterranean island seems no more difficult than a trip to, say, Blackpool.
Such a cooling of interest in comparison with high-season months is quite understandable – after all, no one knows will it be possible to swim? And comparable air temperatures can be found closer – in Sochi, for example, in early November the weather is very encouraging.
But tourists who are prone to risk, as well as those who like to “change the scenery,” are happy to fly to Cyprus on vacation in November. And even later – in winter!
For a holiday on the “Island of Aphrodite” (the ancient Greek goddess of love, if that) at the end of autumn is not only inexpensiveand also has a good chance of becoming a real decoration of the year.
Want to know why? Everything is extremely simple – enough warm weather in a company with few tourists creates excellent conditions for an extremely relaxed holiday. And in the modern era, full of anxiety and natural adversity, this is especially important – isn’t it?!
Weather in Cyprus in November
as in general in southern Europe, it is not stable. That is, you must be aware that the final month of autumn is also in the eastern Mediterranean big on surprises.
But, of course, you need to tune in for the best
For almost certainly in early November, Cyprus will enjoy warm weather, and the air temperature will reach the range of +24-26 degrees Celsius. Will this go on long enough for you to have a good holiday at sea – or everything will be limited to 2-3 days, no one can predict. Especially meteorologists.
But let’s take it for granted that warm days do happen in Cyprus in November. And exactly plural!
So you can not only stay warm, but even get a tan. That is, get a portion of vitamin D, which northerners lack so much, and strengthen the immune system before winter.

At night, however, it is noticeably colder: up to +12-15 °C. And this, again, needs to be taken into account by packing your vacation suitcase with a number of warm clothes.
At the end of November the atmosphere in Cyprus even during the day does not warm up above +20-22 °C. But this, as we understand, is a marvel for many Europeans. Not to mention residents of the northern regions, for example.
Precipitation
Various “official” weather forecasters regularly scare us with rain. But in fact, the sediments of the November “spill” on the Mediterranean island can’t compare with thosewhich are going on at this time throughout Central Europe.
At times, of course, it can be cool, windy and dank. When you want to wrap yourself in a jacket and, looking at the sea, think – why did I come here?
But then the weather seems to come to its senses and stops tormenting you. As if he decides for himself that winter is still far away
And then the sun shines again, the sky amazes with deep turquoise, and real joy settles in the heart. Especially if you are taking part in a truly memorable event, such as a cruise from Paphos to the famous Blue Lagoon.
Water temperature
If you are not a regular at tropical resorts, and usually vacation no further south than Turkey, then you will like the Mediterranean Sea in Cyprus in November. In, let’s say, 8 cases out of 10. If you read the reviews, it will seem like – there are no dissatisfied people!
At the beginning of the month the water is heated to +22-23 degrees Celsius, by the end of the month it cools down to +18-20 °C. Which, naturally, not only does not exclude, but even provokes swimming.
In a strong wind in a sea at this temperature, you may not want to get into it. But in relative calm – why not? Again, at certain moments the sun becomes so hot that you will certainly need to freshen up.
In addition, most local hotels have swimming pools. And often with heated water
Imagine the picture: you are on a sun lounger with a cocktail, the sun is shining, it’s +25 °C outside, there are no or very few tourists. You feel like a king. Well, or at least – a special one, close to him.
What at this time of year and in this place – not fantasy at all!

Prices 2025
An air ticket from Moscow to Larnaca and back in early November (who would dare to travel later?) will cost 400-450 €. If you dare to go on vacation without luggage. The duration of flights for this money is unlikely to be called comfortable – they will last from 9 hours in each direction.
But a resident of London and a British citizen in general will traditionally fly to Cyprus for much more reasonable money. In particular, a ticket for a baggage-free flight from the capital Luton to Larnaca and back will cost 150+ €. If you want to take a suitcase with things with you, you will splurge for a couple of hundred more.
However, what are we talking about sad things – but in November, hotel rooms, for example, in the popular beach resort of Protaras, cost from 40-50 € per night. And there is no shortage of offers for this money!
We are sure that you appreciate it superb Maria Zintili Apartments in the heart of Ayia Napa. Some of them are rented at twice the price in the summer than in the late autumn, and at the same time they never end up with guests.
For a very attractive sum, you can rent a separate villa, so that at least you can live in style on vacation. For example, Katerina Luxury Villas (Protaras) will become home for a week for a group of 7 (!) people for about 1,000 € (four can stay for 700 € per week).
- To the sea – 600 meters, there is a private pool and as many as 3 bedrooms, the total area of the house is 135 m2
Tours and car rental
A separate paragraph should be devoted to excursions around Cyprus. Fortunately, prices for them, already low, in November tend to the annual minimum — participation in a cruise or excursion to the mountains will cost only 25-45 €.
It is also very inexpensive to rent a car – for only 16-20 € per day. A car for this money will not be so microscopic – you can even rent a Nissan Note.
As for package tours to the “Island of Aphrodite”, their cost at the end of autumn also reaches annual minimums. And a couple of travelers from Moscow will be able to relax during the November holidays (6-7 nights), for example, in Ayia Napa, for ~150-160 thousand rubles.
However, it is worth noting that this amount, at best, will only include breakfast. Plus round-trip flights (which in itself is quite a lot) and accommodation in a good or even excellent hotel!

Things to do
Count on visiting water parks in Cyprus in late autumn there is no reason! They are already closed and peacefully dozing in anticipation of the new season. Which, by the way, starts very early – in March!
Therefore, in November in Cyprus it is worth taking matters into your own hands. That is, immediately upon arrival, plunge into the belly of a rental car and start driving along the coastal and mountain paths.
Moreover, you will have few competitors, and you won’t have to complain about busy traffic!
We get acquainted with what a tourist needs to see in Cyprus in our separate article. As part of this material, we will list the most “protruding” attractions.
Definitely recommend
commit 1-2 trips to villages and monasterieslocated within the Troodos mountain range in the central part of the island. More popular than others is Kykkos, where they say the Byzantine emperor himself visited.
Naturally it’s worth it visit Paphos and its Archaeological sitek. And then, on the way to Limassol, turn to Aphrodite’s Rock and the ruins of the Greek city of Kourion.
In theory, you don’t have to visit Limassol and Nicosia itself, as well as Larnaca. Which, apart from diving opportunities, is rather poor in entertainment.
Near Ayia Napa, you need to take a look at the beautiful limestone cliffs of Cape Greco. Or maybe take a swim in incredible turquoise-colored clear water!
First we move to Famagusta, which is located right on the border. And then you can go to ancient Kyrenia-Girne, a garden city on the northern coast.
