The Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi in the form reminiscent of a rock, has 34 floors (214 numbers here) – the construction of a hotel that lasted 4 years, there was a investment company from the united Arab emirates of $ 140 million, the head of this company, the Arab Sheikh and part -time, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Public Development of the UAE opened the hotel Together with the Prime Minister of Georgia. For such a solemn occasion, a concert, fireworks and a laser show were arranged. However, the mapping show (light projections on the facade of the building) are now arranged here regularly, which makes the hotel an even more noticeable landmark in the city center.
The Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi is located on Rustaveli Avenue, just 300 meters from the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater and a kilometer from Freedom Square. The hotel complex included the building of the former Institute of Marxism-Leninism, built according to the project of an outstanding Russian and Soviet architect Alexei Shchusev in the 1930s. Despite the fact that the construction of the hotel was financed by Arabic companies, the interior as a whole can be characterized as “luxurious, but in a Caucasian restrained.” It offers guests of the Terrace hotel for tanning, an indoor pool, a sauna, a spa and a fitness center, as well as a free private parking. The registration stand works around the clock, car rental has been organized. A bar and a restaurant are open on the territory, in which dishes of various kitchens of the world are served.
All numbers are equipped with air conditioning and a flat screen and satellite channels. Some rooms have a living corner where you can drink a cup of tea, admiring the view of the river or city. In the own bathroom of each room, a bath and a bidet are installed. However, judging by the reviews, not all declared services are currently working in full – the hotel administration explains the overlays with features of the initial period and promises to soon bring the level of work of the hotel to the nominal seven stars. In addition, it is planned to open a casino here.
