Pangan is a subtle, almost borderline state between when there is already sufficient infrastructure for a comfortable, full life, and because civilization begins to spoil nature with its presence.

But at the same time, there are only three relatively large roads on the island (one goes along the coast, the other leads to the east and the third – to the north). If it were necessary to choose only one word in order to describe the beaches of Pangan, then this word would be – “paradise”! Yes, it’s not a joke, there are about 30 beaches on the tiny island, and most of them are completely suitable for this definition.
Pangan beaches are beautiful natural bays, with transparent turquoise water and a clean shore, “unlucky” benefits of civilization.
Most of the beaches boast of amazing, pleasant to the touch, fine sand and a comfortable entrance to the sea, where you can snort among tropical fish or just swim calmly without fear of currents and waves.
Part of the beaches in Pangan has a good entrance, hotels there are usually located right on the shore, which makes these beaches available to the bulk of tourists (for example, Baan Tai, Haad Yao, Haad Rin). Nearby there are massage salons, shops and other infrastructure. But at the same time, there are quite a lot of half -wild beaches on Pangan, where there are only a couple of small hotels, beaches in the very distance from civilization, and, accordingly, with a different atmosphere, complete solitude and relaxation, where you can relax from the fuss and completely restore strength (for example, Haad Yuan, coconut Beach, Tong Noey and Yay).
And also, almost any beach on Pangan is just an amazing find for photographers. Natural scenery in the form of rocks, coastal stones, white sand, inclined palm trees with rope swing on them and delightful dawn with sunsets – there is an obligatory attribute of almost every beach, so without beautiful landscape marine photographs, you will definitely not leave the island.

The most popular route in Pangan is the ascent to the highest point of the island, the top of Mount Kao Ra (627 m). The rise is not very complicated, takes about 1 hour, the route runs through real jungle with vines and trees with intricate huge roots protruding from under the soil.
In the National Park, Tang Sata is also a few very simple tracking of the site leading to the observation deck, around the Phang waterfall, as well as the royal trail, which runs right along the shallow river bed with small thresholds-waterfalls, where you can find huge cobblestones with marks that the Thai king loved to come here. The path leads to the amazing eastern eastern beach Tang Sata in a natural bay.
No less exciting tracking to semi -wild beaches, for example, to those to which there are practically no normal entrance, and where they sail, mainly in boats (for example, Haad Khonti, Haad Yuan, Botle Beach). These routes also, as a rule, go through the jungle, periodically withdrawing to rocky protrusions – natural observation decks.
