Water temperature
This information is more for reference – very few people risk going into the usually stormy (even Mediterranean) sea in winter. But on paper everything is worthy, the water area warmed up to +18-19 degrees Celsius. And theoretically, it allows you not only to walk along the edge of the surf, but also to swim.
It is curious that even by February the sea in Alanya does not cool below +18 °C. That is, of course, this happens – but only in the coldest years.
How to dress
For those who are just going to walk around Alanya in January, inhaling the aromas of the sea and (let’s not be afraid of this word) freedom, dreaming on a wide beach about a happy future, Don’t stuff your suitcase with clothes. Because the list of things you need to take with you to Turkey is already long!

Should those who would like to visit Istanbul in January take such warm clothes with them? This makes no practical sense – the weather there weakly correlates with the very concept of winter.

If we are talking about celebrating the New Year in Alanya or official holidays, then prices for air tickets from Moscow (from 650 € per passenger, but round trip, but without luggage) will not please you. Those who travel from Belgrade, for example, will spend from 300 €.

We are not even talking about the fact that there are even large clothing stores in Alanya. This means, in particular, that you can bring a useful thing from Turkey – often inexpensive and practical.
Plus – to heal mental wounds – women will understand us
And do it much more effectiverather than during a Sunday foray into one of Moscow’s crowded super-mega shopping centers.
As for long trips from Alanya, we have already briefly mentioned the two most popular ones above. And we especially focus on the fact that visiting, for example, Cappadocia, is much better in independent mode.
That is, without getting involved with excursions of the format “a day on the road – a day and a half on the spot.”
