Dubai in February 2026 – is it worth going on vacation? Weather and reviews, water temperature, prices for tours, air tickets, hotels. How to dress, is it possible to swim in Dubai at the beginning and end of February, what to see, where to go with children, what to do in general – says Eurotraveler.
A trip to Dubai in the middle or even at the end of winter was not considered a particularly promising entertainment until recently. For most tourists believed that the Persian Gulf, on the shores of which the famous Arab emirate is located, is somehow poorly suited for swimming in the period from December to February.
And the air temperatures there (seemingly?) do not correspond to the very concept of an “excellent beach holiday”?
But times are changing. And some established subjectivisms are falling apart like a house of cards.
In our case, this is undoubtedly for the better! Because February in Dubai represents almost perfect time for recreation of certain categories of tourists.
Warm, but not hot, and also very dry
Plus, it’s traditionally extremely sunny. Allowing you to both tan and have fun to the fullest.
Isn’t this so nice to dream about under the sweeping snow? When you walk, sliding down the sidewalks and falling through in the wormwood into the snowdrifts, which for some reason have not yet been removed by the “10,000 cars” that were urgently taken out onto the street?
Weather in Dubai in February
Doesn’t really fit the established cliche. According to which, the desert must certainly languish from the heat. And the sun melts everything that did not have time to hide.
It can be hot, but usually the air temperature in Dubai in February “floats” in the range of +22-26 degrees Celsius. Clearly gravitating towards the “golden mean”, that is, +24 °C.

During the last month of winter, Dubai can experience temperatures that are oh-so-horrible! — and below, about +20-21 °C
However, not for long – a day or two.
During which everyone will find something to do. After all, when it’s not hot, it’s time to go on a sightseeing tour of the city and the emirate, visit oriental bazaars in search of original things and souvenirs, have a fun time in shopping malls and amusement parks.
You need to understand that in winter the UAE rarely experiences temperatures around +30 degrees. Although you should be mentally prepared for this. Because at the end of February, Dubai may experience just such weather.
In January, let us remind you, it is a little cooler in the emirate… And – more expensive!
At the end of winter, the thermometer in Dubai at night sometimes drops below the psychologically important mark of +20 °C. So a jacket, sweatshirt, and sweater will obviously not be out of place in your vacation wardrobe.
Although in most cases it is warmer here even after sunset: at least +21-22 °C.
Precipitation and light
There is a lot of sun, rare rain. Although they do happen!
Bringing tourists into indescribable surprise: how can this happen – rain in the desert?! However, judging by the reviews, in February, rare vacationers encounter such a misfortune in Dubai.
One way or another, windbreaker with hood has some chances of being useful! Moreover, you will almost certainly go on vacation to the southern seas at the end of the (cold) winter in something similar, more substantial than a Hawaiian shirt?
In general, the UAE is traditionally dry, and humidity almost never exceeds 50-60% even in the coldest time of the year
The length of daylight also makes you want to walk and drive a lot – even in early February, daylight hours in Dubai exceed 11 hours. And by March its duration increases by almost 40 minutes.

Water temperature
Contrary to popular belief, you can swim in Dubai in February! And not only in hotel pools – in the open sea (Persian Gulf).
The temperature of the latter – +20-22 °C – of course, a traveler accustomed to relaxing in the tropics would not call it extremely comfortable. But for gentlemen who are not too pampered, swimming in such a sea at the end of winter is a great blessing.
At the end of winter, water in the Persian Gulf refreshing and extremely invigorating. With a certain amount of imagination, such regular events can rightfully be perceived as health-improving.
Prices 2026
Flights to Dubai from Moscow and back in mid-February cost from 35-40 thousand rubles per person in the case of a direct non-stop flight (with hand luggage or only luggage).
In principle, the prices in hotels are not shocking to those who can imagine what it costs today. In particular, in February, for up to 150 € per day, a couple of travelers will be able to stay at an acceptable distance from the main attractions of the emirate.
For our part, we recommend Premier Inn Dubai Barsha Heights. Which, of course, is not located in the center at all.
But at the same time, it’s a 15-minute walk from the Dubai Internet City metro station – in a cool February, you’ll overcome this distance effortlessly. You can also drive – there is a free shuttle from the hotel to the metro!
Another way to save a little money is to stay at one of the hotels in Sharjah, the emirate neighboring Dubai. And then go on walks and excursions by taxi (from 20 €) or regular bus – the trip to the nearest metro station will last 30-40 minutes.
Here is how to get by bus from Sharjah to Dubai on your own.

Compared to airfare and hotel prices, the cost of package tours to Dubai at the end of winter will seem attractive to most travelers. Yes, in this case you need to prepare for possible overlaps – irecommend.ru/prishlos-potrepat-sebe-nervishki – but you can save money!
For example, for a 6-7 day trip with flights and accommodation in a 4-star hotel, a couple of vacationers from Moscow will pay only 110-120 thousand rubles. Meals, however, will only be breakfast.
Sightseeing tours in Dubai are not particularly expensive (although there is nothing to compare with, of course). So for participation in a group sightseeing trip you will pay from 35-40 €.
But an individual format will cost at least 150-200 €. However, but for all participants!

Things to do
We have already counted the key, that is, the most interesting attractions of Dubai in a separate article. But even without reading it, it is clear to the vast majority of potential vacationers that their main activities will be:
The first looks especially interesting, considering that such a concentration of super-tall buildings cannot be found, perhaps, anywhere in the world.
Therefore, there is no shortage of “understandable” guides who are ready to introduce tourists to the city and country for reasonable money. In other cases, the excursion lasts 8-10 hours, so you really get the “full view”.

You won’t have to “walk” through the streets under the sun, dripping with sweat! Because, as mentioned above, it will be warm, but (in most cases) not hot.
It is quite possible to become a member of the cruise. Allowing you to see all the most interesting things in a short time!
If you don’t want to waste valuable vacation time traveling and walking, look at the city from above. For example, climbing the Burj Khalifa skyscraper.
The most affordable observation decks are located at an altitude of 452-456 meters (124-125 floors) – and a visit to them is quite enough to create the right impression. A ticket will cost less than 40 € per person.
As for more active entertainment, we would highlight the ice skating rink in the Dubai Mall. And a whole artificial ski slope called Ski Dubai in the Mall of the Emirates. In winter – especially at the end of it – such activities are especially relevant!
Where to go
For family tourists, as well as for those who do not consider themselves too grown up, there are numerous theme and water parks in Dubai and neighboring emirates. The most popular ones are IMG Worlds of Adventure and Motiongate, Aquaventure and Wild Wadi.
Active tourists who are hungry for adrenaline sensations will probably want take a safari tour through the desert. Moreover, such a walk, with all its simplicity (jeep, ATVs, Bedouin village, show and dinner), will give truly unforgettable emotions.
Even those with modest bank accounts may want to fly over the emirate in a helicopter. A flight lasting from 12 to 30 minutes will allow you to look at the country and its architectural achievements from an unusual perspective.
Well, you should definitely take advantage of the (non-hot) moment to take a sightseeing tour to Abu Dhabi. And a trip on a yacht or boat along the Persian Gulf is not a very expensive way to decorate your vacation with original “touches”.
