Once there was a poor fishing village, and today Muyna was a popular resort village in the south of Vietnam. They go here behind the warm sea, secluded beaches, cheap seafood and Vietnamese flavor, which you can not meet in a noisy nhangon. The tourist season in these places lasts from November to April, so you still have time to plan a trip. We tell you what to do in Muin and the surroundings except the beach holidays.
Entrance rules
Russians are allowed to be in a country without a visa up to 45 days. Updated rules apply on August 14, 2023 and work the same for both the mainland of the country and for the island of Fukuok.

How to get
Muyna is 200 km from Hoshimin. There are no direct flights between Russia and Vietnam, Emirates, Turkish Airlines and Etihad Airways in Abu Dubai, Dubai and Istanbul have the most convenient transplants. Ticket prices in both directions start at 76,000 rubles*.
The easiest option to get to the village from Hoshimin is to take a taxi directly to the hotel, it will cost $ 70-100 (5,000-7,000 rubles).
Public transport will be a more budgetary and exotic way. Sleeping Bus is popular in Southeast Asia-a bus with bedding. Its price is slightly higher than that of the usual (10 US dollars per ticket, about 800 rubles), but you can observe palm trees and rice fields flying outside the window, lying in an armchair. Usually in the cabin there is free water in bottles. To get on this bus, you need to get from a taxi airport or 152 bus to PHAM NGU Lao Street in Khushin. There are travel agencies where you can buy a ticket to Muyna. On average, the road takes 5-6 hours.
Where to stop

Fairy stream

It is located near the resort area, it is easy to find by signs located on the main road of the village. The path leads to a small staircase that descends to the stream. On the shore there are several cafes with food and drinks, where you can look on the way back. The route runs right along the stream, among white and red rocks. They resemble the shelter of mythical creatures – therefore, the stream received such a beautiful name.
The stream of water winds between the rocks and the jungle. The depth of the stream is only a few centimeters, so we recommend that you go barefoot on soft sand. For a walk, old clothes or bathing suits are suitable, which are not a pity to stain clay spray. The stream is surrounded by bamboo and palm forests, but it is still worth taking care of hats and other protection from the sun.
A walk from one end of the stream to the other takes 10-15 minutes. The cost of visiting 10,000 Vietnamese dongs (30 rubles). It is best to come here on weekdays.
The village of Rybakov

This colorful place is located about 7 km north of Muin. It is convenient to get by car, motorcycle or bicycle.
At the entrance, a magnificent view of hundreds of multi -colored fishing boats moored by the shore opens. Early in the morning you can observe how the fishermen return with the night catch, and at sunset – how the sun affects the surface of the sea, contrasting with countless boats. This is a great place to look behind the life of local residents and enjoy fresh seafood.
Beaches Bai Rang and Hon Rom

Bai rank – This is 8 km of absolute contrast: here you can see both modern luxurious resorts and small fishing houses. Bai rank is considered the central beach of Muin, and life here does not subside even with sunset: restaurants and hotels, souvenir shops and all kinds of rental points, ATMs and currency exchange points are concentrated along the coast. On the beach there are several surf schools where you can rent a board or take a lesson from a certified instructor to catch your first wave.
Hon Rom – An ideal location for lovers of wildlife and solitude. The beach is located at the foot of the mountain, is famous for its transparent water, calm waves and the lack of reefs. Great for relaxing with young children. There are several cafes and bars on the beach where you can have a bite and drink fruit cocktails.
Market Ham Thunders

The village market is a little away from the center of Muyna, where you can buy almost everything in the world: fresh and dried seafood, clothes, souvenirs, vegetables, fruits … Be sure to include traditional dishes and delicacies in the program: try different types of fish salad of herring and smokes, Banh Cana dish (pancakes from quail eggs are served in small ones clay molds), Banh Xeo (crispy rice pancakes with filling) and Banh Hoi Long Heo (rice vermicelli with pork ribs).
It is better to come to the market in the morning to have time to try and buy all the fresher and tasty.
Red canyon

The natural attraction is about 25 km from the resort area. You can get here by rented transport or with a tour towards white dunes.
Take a walk along the bottom of the canyon, admire the Martian landscapes and be sure to take pictures for memory – green vegetation against the background of red sand looks very impressive. The canyon was formed in clay-sand soils as a result of leaching of soil with frequent rains. Unfortunately, over time, it can cease to exist for the same reason, so it is so important to have time to visit it. The entrance is free.
Red and white dunes

Red sand dunes They are located next to the main coastal road coming from Muin. It is best to come here at sunset to observe how the sun is hiding behind amber hills. Local children offer to rent plastic sledges for 20,000 dongs (60 rubles) in order to frolic on sand hills and ride dunes from top to bottom. And merchants nearby sell ice cream, traditional f (soup with noodles) and refreshing drinks.
White sand dunes Located about a 20 -minute drive from the center of the village. It is best to watch them at dawn when the sand is not too hot. Walk barefoot, take dozens of pictures and enjoy views. Here you can rent an ATV to ride in deserted expanses. The cost is from 200,000 to 600,000 dongs (600 – 1,500 rubles), the price depends on the time of skiing and whether you need a driver or you will manage yourself.
Lake Lotosov

Not far from the white dunes is Lake Lotosov – a place as if from mythical traditions and dreams. Most of it is covered with delicate pink water lilies and lotus buds, which fill the air with a sweet aroma of cinnamon. The pyramids of white sand on the horizon emphasize the uniqueness of this oasis. Tourists can rent a fishing boat to ride a lake, as well as swim among lotuses.
Statue of the lying Buddha on Mount Taku

There are several attractions on the mountain: Pagoda Lin Song Jung and the largest statue of the lying Buddha in Vietnam. A picturesque view of the surroundings opens from the cable car. The path to the top takes 10 minutes, there is a complex of temples, pagodas and statues, and on the slope of the mountain – a statue of 49 m long. It is so huge that it is often not placed in the camera lens. So to capture the Buddha as a sake of memory is still a quest.
At the foot of the mountain, where the lifting and the cable car begins, there is a guarded parking, many souvenir shops, a beautiful garden and even public transport – small electric vehicles carry visitors from the entrance to the territory to the cableway station.
Standard input ticket: 50,000 dongs (150 rubles) adult and 30,000 (90 rubles) – children’s (for walking); The integrated ticket includes the entrance fee, an electric car and rise/descent along the cable car and cost 160,000 dongs (500 rubles). The complex is open daily from 7 to 17 hours.
