Hungary is a special country. On its relatively small territory there are about 60 thousand sources with healing mineral water. There is no such concentration of thermal waters anywhere else in the world. In Budapest alone, there are more than 130 thermal springs and bathing. But since Budapest Hungary is not exhausted, we invite you on a trip to the most important water resorts of this country. You can swim here all year round, both in closed aqua complexes, and in the open air: in bathes, pools and even lakes. Such a bathing is not only pleasant, but also useful. And most importantly – it can be combined with a diverse cultural program. By the way, spring is the best time to visit Hungary. It is sunny, everywhere – flowering fruit trees, and this is the most comfortable season for bathing in open hot pools.

This cozy town is spread out on the shore of the world’s largest thermal reservoir – Lake Heviz. The lake has the shape of a funnel with a depth of 38 meters, at the very bottom – an underwater cave, from which three thermal keys are hit. In summer, the water in the lake warms up to 32 degrees, and in winter it never decreases less than 24. Thanks to a funnel -shaped form, the water is constantly mixed, and therefore its temperature is the same at any point in the lake. The surface of the reservoir is decorated with pink water lilies brought from India. They are even depicted on the coat of arms of the city.

The largest spa complex in Europe is located in Haidusoblo. Accordingly, services and entertainment here – for every taste and wallet. In addition, the city is a giant number of a wide variety of bathing and pools with thermal water. The main highlight is the so -called Mediterranean beach with a palm alley. Also in Haidusoblo is the largest aqua park in Hungary. The total length of the slides in it is more than a kilometer. In children, the super-realistic sculptures of animals, standing right in the pools are delighted.

Eger

The city of Eger is famous, first of all, its medieval fortress, but there are also plenty of possibilities for bathing in thermal sources. In addition to the usual pools and spa complexes for Hungary, traditional Turkish baths that have been preserved since the Ottoman invasion can be visited in Eger.
In the suburbs of Eger, in the town of Egersalkov, to which it is 10 minutes by local transport, there is another thermal park with many water entertainments and limestone artificial slides resembling Turkish Pamamukkala.
Eger is famous for his wines. The famous Egers wine “Baby Bikavér) is especially appreciated by experts.
Which is sold here for a roser in any catering establishment. If you want to get closer to the secrets of Egersky winemaking, visit the Krasavitz Valley, it is only a 20 -minute walk from the historical center of the city.
Debrezen

Thanks to the local climate and the resort atmosphere reigning in the city, the city of Debrezen is often called the “Hungarian Mediterranean.” In confirmation of this, in 2003, the Mediterranean swimsuit of the Aquaticum entertainment was opened here: surrounded by a wide variety of tropical plants, all kinds of slides, hydromassage pools, geysers, rivers, waterfalls and caves are functioning.

Sharvar

In the 60s of the last century, oil was searched here, and one of the deepest deposits of thermal waters in the country was discovered. Hot water in the pools and bathing swimming sharvara enters from a record depth – two kilometers. Its temperature is plus 83 degrees, so before using it you even have to cool. From this water, therapeutic salt, the famous Sharvar crystal, is released.
