We advise you to rent a car for the duration of the entire trip. Since you arrive in Bologna, it is most convenient to do it there. There are two options: at the airport or in the city near the Central Railway Station, where you can get from the BLQ bus (20 minutes on the road, a ticket costs 6 €).
Find flights to Bologna
Day 1. Bologna
After arrival, do not lose time, go to the city for a walk around the historical center. Explore the streets on which there are many interesting attractions and monuments. Among them are arcades, stretching along houses, towers, cathedrals, palaces and restaurants, where you must try the traditional dishes of the Emilia-Romania region.
Be sure to visit the University of Bologna – the oldest university in Europe, the first lectures here began in 1088 the main building of the university, the palazzo squeeze, open to visitors. Look at the frescoes and sculptures, look at the library and the wooden anatomical theater.

After walking around Bologna, go to Rimini, where you stay for several days.
Days 1-5. Rimini
Rimini is a resort on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, whose beach stretched 15 kilometers. Most of the beaches are paid, but there are several free ones. On a paid beach, renting a set of two sun loungers and an umbrella will cost about 20 € per day.
The conditions for a beach holiday in Rimini are wonderful: soft sand, water warms up to 25 degrees in the summer, developed infrastructure with locker rooms and showers on the beaches. In addition to the beach, it is also worth paying attention to the city itself, where many architectural monuments have been preserved.

Day 5. San Marino
On the morning of the fifth day, go to San Marino. On the car, move along the SS72 highway. The trip will take about 30 minutes.
San Marino is a state surrounded by the territory of Italy from all sides. It consists of 9 fortifications. All the main attractions are in walking distance.
A train carries, from the window of which you can enjoy the fascinating landscapes of mini-states and its attractions, from the window of San Marino, is carried through the territory of San Marino. The cost of a 40-minute trip with an audio guide (is in Russian) is 7 € per person.
In the capital of the state of San Marino with the same name, spreading at the top of Mount Titano Mountain, walk along the squares and winding streets between stone houses. In Borgo-Majore, go to Piazza Square Grande for souvenirs and local products made of silk and crystal.

Day 6. Moving to Montepulchano
In Montepulchano you will go through the territory of the Tuscan region. There are only 170 kilometers between the two cities, so do not spare time for stops to see small villages, vineyards, fields and fortresses. The main thing is not to get carried away and get to Montepulchano in the evening.
Days 7–8. Montepulchano
Montepulchano is a beautiful city located among the picturesque valleys of the Tuscan region. The main street of the city, Via di Gracciano Nel Corso, pedestrian. It has souvenir shops, restaurants and wine cellars, some of which offer free wine tasting.
On the main square of the city, Piazza Grande, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin is located. Opposite the cathedral is the Palace of the Commune, on the upper platform of which you can get in 2 €. From there, an excellent view of the city and the surroundings opens.
The city is famous for its wineries and cantins. In the winery you can go with a tour. For example, Avignonesi winery offers visitors to tasting, master classes and excursions. Look for more detailed information on the Avignonesi website.

In the morning of the eighth day, advance towards the city of Pienz. The distance to it is 15 kilometers.
Day 8. Pienza
Pienza is a city of the Renaissance, included in the UNESCO heritage list. It will take about two hours to go around it on foot. The streets of the city are buried in flowers, and cozy cafes are beckoning with their aromas. In Pienz, try peekorino cheese from sheep’s milk – this is one of the best varieties of cheese in Italy, moreover, it goes well with local red wines.
After examining, go to Pitillano. The trip will take about an hour and a half without stops.
Days 8–10. Pitillano
Pitillano is called a tuf city due to many buildings and caves carved from tuf. Pitillano rises 315 meters above sea level. Narrow streets and secluded caves create a feeling of peace and peace. This ancient city, surrounded by medieval walls, offers travelers cozy shops, craft workshops and historical attractions. Inspect the Cathedral of Pitillano, the Orsini Palace, the Jewish ghetto and the Etruscan roads under the cave set.

Early in the morning on the tenth day of the trip, go to the coastal city of Pyombino. The road will take about two hours to him. There, sit on a ferry that will take you to the island of Elba. You can find a ferry and tariffs here.
Days 10-12. Elba island
Porterraio
Portoferraio is the capital of the island in which you will sail on a ferry. In the city, you can visit the San Martino Museum-Village-the former residence of Napoleon, where household items, weapons, family relics and other values have been preserved. In the very center of Portoferraio is the Christmas Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He is famous for the fact that it was here that Napoleon was declared the emperor of the island. You can also visit the open -air museum. Pictures, sculptures and panels are exhibited there. Address: Portoferraio – Loc.san Martino. The entrance is free.
Beaches
There are more than 70 beaches on the island, most of which are sandy and galen, and the other is sandy. The beaches are washed with azure warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and picturesque rocks and hills rise above them. You can go to the cliffs on foot or by car and enjoy the Mediterranean landscapes. The most beautiful beaches on the island are a driving, Le Gyaye, Kavoli, Paolina. By car you can go anywhere in the island and explore these and many other beaches.

In the morning on the twelfth day of the trip, leave the island and go to the Chinkwe-Terre National Park. You will get from the city of Pyombino by car in about 2.5 hours.
Days 12-15. Chinkwe-Terre
Chinkwe-Terre is a national park consisting of five villages included in the UNESCO heritage list: Riomajore, Manarola, Cornillal, Vernazza and Monterosso. Between them you can move by car, train or on foot. Travel time between the villages varies from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Riomajore
Riomajore is the largest town in the National Park. Here are picturesque multi -colored houses rising above the sea, a small pebble beach and Marina.
Manarola
From Riomajore to Manarola, you can get along the picturesque road of love (Via Dell’amore). This village is similar to Riomaggira, but has its own unique charm.
Cornillal
Cornillal is surrounded by hills slopes covered with vineyards. This is the only village that does not have a beach and a direct access to the sea.
Vernazza
In addition to multi -colored houses and Marina, here you can look at the Belfort tower and Doria medieval castle.
Monterosso
Monterosso can offer a magnificent beach and an amazing landscape.

Day 15. Return home
On the morning of the last day, go to Pisa Airport. Travel time to Moscow will be about 3 hours 30 minutes.
