“Land of Love”: South Korean Park with erotic sculptures

The South Korean island of Chejudo with beautiful landscapes and a pleasant sea climate is warmly loved by tourists and traditionally accepts the newlyweds during the honeymoon. It is not surprising that it was here that the unusual park “Land of Love” appeared, where the sculptures of people in very piquant poses are located in the open air. The purpose of creating a park is educational: since until recently, most marriages in Korea were by the will of the parents, and the spouses acquaintance with each other (including intimate) occurred precisely during the wedding trip, it was believed that they needed to suggest what was happening. Some sculptural groups froze as in illustrations for the Kamasutra – and they have something to learn, other interactive ones – visitors can play these dolls. The cinema at the park shows training films, and in the evenings in the “Land of Love” include backlight, which adds even more eroticism to everything that happens. It collected 140 sculptures, and the plots of many of them are far from traditional ideas about marriage: the number of participants clearly exceeds the due. In this article, we decided to show the most curious exhibits of the Earth of Love. Ask the children to move away from the screens.

I want to go to South Korea!
