Summer is the best time to travel by bicycle. In Europe, there are many bike paths with beautiful views, excellent coverage, and cheap hotels in every city and village. The mountains of Switzerland, the Tuscan coast and castles in the Loire Valley – we will talk about the most beautiful cycles of Europe.
1. Loire a Velo – medieval castles, vineyards, French cuisine and wine

Every year, 700 thousand travelers pass it. The path passes past the old castles of Shambor, Saumur and Shenonso, according to the Loire-Yu-Tyren reserve with rare birds, and in medieval villages, where you can enjoy French cuisine and wines. The Louisian bike path has almost no rise and excellent infrastructure – you can rent a bicycle and equipment and pass it anywhere in the route. If you are tired and want to reduce the route, then sit on the Train Velo Loire train. From June 10 to August 27, 2017 it is equipped with an additional bicycle car.
2. Tuscan coast (The Tuscan Coast) – cypress groves, sea, Pizan tower and Elba Island

This is a relatively short but very beautiful route along the ancient Aurelia Road past the Etruscan necropolis in the Posoloniy and the Pisan Tower, through the Piniev Forests and Vinograms. From the Tuscan hills, beautiful views of cypress groves, the sea and medieval villages open. The first hundred kilometers of the route pass along the coast, then hills and low mountains begin. A few kilometers from the bike path passes the train line that connects Pisa and Rome, in the summer it is equipped with a bicycle car. Every 25-30 km you will find a hotel/camping/hostel and a bicycle workshop.
3. Rhine Bicycle Route – mountain valleys of Switzerland, German castles and shale mountains

The road goes through the alpine valleys, next to glaciers and waterfalls, in cities and villages included in the UNESCO list, through the rocks and castles of the Rhinsky shale mountains. The route is very long and is suitable for cyclists of any level of training – the road is divided into areas of different difficulties, every year maps, cycling -attacks and guides are published. Each settlement has a cafe, hotels and repair shops. This year, the Rhine bike path has been celebrating 200 years – on this occasion there will be exhibitions of ancient bicycles, festivals, holidays and even several bicycle parades in different cities.
4. Austrian Danube bike path (Danube Bike Path): Baroque abbey, vineyards, reserves and beautiful Vienna

This bicycle path is the most beautiful and popular segment of the huge Danube cycling machine, which begins in the Alps and goes to Hungary. Most travelers go along the Danube, so it is better not to go against the current. On the way, you will see the picturesque bends of the Danube, seething thresholds, vineyards of the Wahaau, baroque abbey and castles. Bicycle and equipment can be rented in any city. From May to October, the Rad Tramper Donau train walks from Vienna to Passau, where the transport of the bicycle is free. Many people prefer to complete the journey not in Bratislava, but in Vienna, where there are hundreds of bicycle excursions in castles, palaces and parks, including children’s excursions.
