We will talk about the five most memorable dishes in Bali: what they consist of and how they are preparing.

Most of the unsweetened dishes in our list contain a mixture of spices called Base Genep: black pepper, candle tree fruits, cloves, coriander, onion, turmeric, chili pepper, Kalgan, Lemongrass. All ingredients are crushed and mixed to create an exquisite taste and aroma.

Lavar is a dish based on a vegetarian mixture of green beans, whipped eggs, olive oil, lime leaves, sugar, grated coconut, onion and coconut milk. All this is fried in coconut oil. As a rule, the name Lavar is given by meat ingredients: for example, chicken Lavar, pork lavar, etc. Fruit variation is called Lavar Nangka, in it a young jackfruit is used in it as a substitute for meat.
Some love Lavar with the blood of clogged animals (for example: pork, chicken, etc.),

In combination with spices to enrich the taste. Locals classify Lavar by color, for example, red lavar (containing blood) and white lavar (only coconuts in it).

Nasi Champur Bali (Riistafel)/NASI Campur Bali

Nasi Champur is one of the most famous and popular dishes on the island. It includes spices, which mainly in large quantities can be found in Curry dishes on a vegetarian basis.

Balian Nasi Champur – a dish with meat (grated chicken, beef cubes, pace and tofu) and vegetables (spinach and cucumbers), wrapped in a banana sheet, which gives it light sweetness. As a rule, Nasi Champur is served in tandem with Babi Guling (Bali Pig).

Nasi jingo (jingo rice)/nasi jinggo

It is included in the ten cheapest food in Bali. Usually the portions are very small, so you may have to order more than one in order to get enough.
It is served with chili pepper, fried pace, chicken, noodles and sulfur (grated coconut, stewed with Balian spices) and really melts in the mouth.

If you have already tried chicken porridge on the island of Java (in Suraba, Jakarta or Bandung), you probably find it amazing, and this is true. Nevertheless, your impression will not be complete if you do not try its Balian version. The Bali version is very similar, but its taste is richer. The sauce is more creamy and at the same time sharp and exciting, thanks to coconut milk, abundance of spices and coconut oil.

Jajja contains laklak/laklak (rice muffins sprinkled with caramel and grated coconut), an indiger bouquet/bubur injin (black rice jelly in sweet coconut milk) and Dadar Ijjo/Dadar ijo (panda flat wafer with sweet coconut).
