Doha
Despite its youth – Doha is not even 200 years old – the city attracts tourists from all over the world. Tower and beaches, Arabic exotic and five -star hotels, artificial islands, embankments and modern museums help to imbue the spirit and culture of this eastern country. We advise you to start acquaintance with the National Museum: immersive expositions in the walls of the architectural masterpiece of Jean Nouvel allow using video displays and 3D technologies to “dive” behind pearls, the main wealth of the country before the opening of oil, and participate in archaeological excavations. To inspect all 11 galleries with interactive elements, you will need at least a couple of hours.
Then go for a walk along the bay along almost eight -kilometer Kornish embankment. Traditional wooden boats of DAU will be adjacent to palm trees and skyscrapers on the horizon. The museum of Islamic art will remain on the right, and on the left is the old market-vacife, where you can get lost among shops with spices, perfumes, pearls, gold, souvenirs, local robes and even hunting falcons. Nearby are stalls for camels – a chance near the main transport of the medieval desert.

In the business area of the West-Bay, Promenad literally rests against the Dokha tower-a futuric skyscraper with a height of 238 m, reminiscent of a steel cucumber. However, no one will surprise anyone with similar structures in Qatar: there are sabers, a high-rise height, a skyscraper with a flying saucer and a tornado tower.
We advise us to continue to explore Dochu in the area of the ethnographic village near the center. Katara Cultural Village combines traditional Arab architecture with modern installations and street art elements. So, the metal beloved in the east covers the walls and the minaret of the Golden Mosque, and the blue mosque, which was decorated with a Turkish designer Zeynab Fadil, is striking in turquoise-violet mosaics and ornaments. The impressive size of the amphitheater resembling a Roman Colosseum is difficult to miss – world celebrities often act here. After a walk, rest in a restaurant or allocate time to visit the nearest beach called Qatar.

The real treasure of the Dohi and the obligatory point of the tourist program is an artificial island with the speaking name of the pearl of the Qatar. Visit this place for the sake of fashionable hotels resembling palaces, snow -white yachts, private beaches, restaurants and boutiques. The main attractions of the island are a shopping center with channels and gondolas and colorful Arab Venice – Kanat Kartier with an exact copy of the Rialto bridge, European architecture and the corresponding atmosphere.
Fans of football should not miss the world’s largest stadium in the form of a gilded bowl, where the World Cup was held at the end of 2022. He is located in the Luseyl area.
Do not forget to look into one of the Qinwan chains for amazing dates in chocolate. A tin box of sweets and chocolate with the addition of pistachios, oranges, apricots and other ingredients will be a great gift for friends and a reminder of vacation.

Choir al-Adaid

The area of the chorus al-Adaid 80 km from the Doha, near the border with Saudi Arabia, is called the inner sea: here the waves of the Persian Gulf are found with the desert. The reserve is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The cut coastal line and turquoise water form fantastic landscapes, and the height of the dunes reaches 50 m. They offer to make a trip through the cranes, jeeps or buggy. To have time to swim, observe Flamingo and Arabian Orix – desert antelopes – and also admire the stars, reserve an overnight stay in a campsite or buy a ready -made tour for two days.
Umm-Said

Mostly youth resort 45 km from the capital. In the UMM-Said (often it is also called Messaid) there will be entertainment for every taste from paralagayding and diving, including among artificial reefs, jeep tours and camels on the desert to golf and tennis courts. Numerous restaurants and active nightlife will add pleasant moments to rest in a green oasis.
Al-vakra

A family resort 15 km from the Doha is famous for the massive Fort of the XX century, which can be examined outside, comfortable for young children with shallow beaches and good fishing. Rent a boat and go to meditate with spinning in your hands and views of the Persian Gulf. The option is simpler – to take from the pier or go for the fresh catch to the fish market.
In the last century, in the harbor of al-Wakra, pearls were mined, this resembles a huge pearl monument in the form of a shell on the seashore, near the old bazaar. Atmospheric shops, camels and manual falcons, Arabic coffee, the smell of spices and classical architecture transfer the stories of “thousands and one night” to the fabulous times.
