1. La Farola de Malaga (Malaga). Coordinates: 36.71416 ° N 4.41453 ° W.
Our route runs along the picturesque coastal road N-340. Its first item will be a lighthouse in the port of Malaga. He began work in 1817, at the end of the century he suffered greatly during the earthquake, but was restored and continues to function to the present, and completely automatically. The total height of the lighthouse is 33 meters. On your way, this is the oldest acting lighthouse.

2. Faro de Torre del Mar (Torre del Mar). Coordinates: 36.73498 ° N 4.09619 ° W.
The second on the row is a 30-minute drive from Malaga and is located in the city line of Torre del Mar (this is a small town, known, first of all, its beaches). The lighthouse began to function in 1826. It is interesting that it became striped recently, before the tower was completely white.
Close from the lighthouse there is a bicycle rental point, so you can take a bicycle and ride along a beautiful embankment (its length is more than two kilometers). There are also a variety of sports grounds in the lighthouse area (there is even for playing Petank).

The lighthouse is located on a hill and stunning views of the surroundings are opened from it. Despite the fact that you can’t climb the lighthouse itself, it is possible to climb the hill. And at his foot there are almost a deserted pebble beach and a pier.
5. Faro de Cabo Sacratif. Coordinates: 36.6944 ° N 3.46830 ° W.
The mining lighthouse is 30 km to the east. This is the “Cabo Sacratif”, towering above the sea on a high hill. The lighthouse was built in 1863. From the hill, beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the coastal lane opened from the hill.
6. Faro de adra (Adra). Coordinates: 36.74796 ° N 3.03098 ° W.
Adra is a small town of almeria province. The current lighthouse was built in 1986 (this is the third city lighthouse, the first was destroyed as a result of flooding, and the second was not high enough to stand out against the background of city lights),

The castle was completely restored in 1980 and currently there is a museum in it, with an extensive collection of clothing and weapons of the Napoleonic era. 8. Faro de Punta Sabinal. Coordinates: 36.68685 ° N 2.70129 ° W.
The next lighthouse is the Sabinal lighthouse, which was built in 1926 after the flooding and destruction of its predecessor. It is interesting that this is one of the few Spanish lighthouses, on which a woman worked for a long time.
Currently, the lighthouse is located on the territory of the natural reserve Punta Entinas-Sabinar,
located in the municipality of El Ehido. The reserve is a coastal strip with a length of 15 km, where sand dunes, freshwater and salty lakes alternate. Even in the high summer season, the beaches are often empty here, which is why this place is perfect, for example, to observe birds. In the summer, here you can find flamingos, waders and rare types of gulls, and in the fall and winter gray herons and large cormorants stop here.
9. Faro de Roquetas de Mar (Roquetas de Mar). Coordinates: 36.75332 ° N 2.60625 ° W.
Roket-de-Mar is a small resort city with amazing beaches. It was not without a lighthouse on the embankment, which was named after the city and was opened in 1863.

10. Faro de San Telmo (Almeria). Coordinates: 36.82845 ° N 2.49231 ° W.
On the way from the previous lighthouse towards Almeria, you will certainly pass the world’s largest cluster of greenhouses, which are also impressive by the fact that they shine brightly at night. For greenhouses you are waiting for another lighthouse. This is San Telmo, which was built in 1976 on the tower of the 18th century castle, located on a rock. A pedestrian trail leads to the lighthouse, along which you can climb breathtaking views.
11. Faro almeria (Almeria). Coordinates: 36.49333 ° N 2.27520 ° W.
Lighthouse Almeria (Faro Almeria) is located in the port of Almeria. The lighthouse began to function in 1925. The structure has a hexagonal shape of the tower and, according to many local residents, is one of the most pretty lighthouses of Andalusia.
