2. Seville
Distance 170 kmabout 2 hours one way. The roads are free.
Seville is an ancient city with excellent architecture, where the Moorish style is present everywhere: from the shape of windows and doors to Giralda – a minaret of the 12th century, turned into a bell tower and has become a symbol of the city. The Gothic Cathedral, the largest in Europe, is adjacent to the miracle of architecture – Seville Alkasar. This luxurious palace was built and rebuilt for 700 years, it is guarded by UNESCO, and perhaps you have already seen it – in the series of the Game of Thrones, all the palace scenes of Dorn were shot in Alkasara.
But Seville is famous not only for the monuments of the past – night life is boiling here all year round. In the area of Santa Cruz, dozens of tapas bars and a Bodeg with the best Spanish wines are waiting for you. In the boiling triana, where flamenco originated, he is dancing in bars, in squares and in theaters. The battles of bulls in the arena in Seville are held in October, April and during local holidays.

Granada, lying at the foot of the Sierra-Nevada mountains, captivates with the splendor of baroque churches, masterpieces of mudehar architecture and the aroma of thousands of orange trees that grow on the streets of the city. Algam and a medieval Moorish fortress, which becomes crimson in the rays of the setting sun, rises above Granada. From its walls, a beautiful view of the city and mountains opens. Generalife, the Summer Palace with many pools, fountains and a magnificent garden, is located at the foot of the fortress.
A huge cathedral rises in the city center, which they began to build in 1505 as a monument of liberation from the Moors and completed 200 years. A few steps from him is the royal chapel, a Gothic masterpiece of architecture, where 8 kings of Spain are buried.
4. Cordoba
Distance 158 kmabout 2 hours one way. The roads are free.
Cordoba, founded by the ancient Romans and former in the 10th century by one of the intellectual centers of Europe, remembers how a thousand years ago Christians, Jews and Muslims lived in peace and consent in the same city. The first in the list of unique monuments of Cordoba is the Cathedral Moskita Mosque. It is one of the twelve architectural miracles of Spain. At first, at this place was an ancient Roman pagan temple, which was rebuilt into the Christian church. In the 8th century, it demolished the caliph and built a huge mosque, which, after the capture of the city by the Spaniards in 1236, was consecrated and became a cathedral.
Among the monuments of medieval architecture, the synagogue is released in the Jewish quarter and the Roman bridge, which is more than two thousand years old. The synagogue is interesting in that this is one of the three preserved in the pristine form of synagogues of Spain – with exquisite carvings, openwork arches and a unique ornament.

And the hallmark of the city is Alkasar, the fortress of Christian kings, rebuilt from the fortress of the Moors.
