In the Kudablin project, we send completely different people on traveling at our expense! Dmitry Knysh visited Milan: he visited the Milan museums, saw Lake Como and hid gifts for subscribers in the city! Read more – in his report!
Departure at 4:20 in the morning is always nice, there is an opportunity to spend a full -fledged day in a new country, which cannot but rejoice.
My flight was very comfortable, albeit with a transplant, but there was time to see Riga, albeit at least from the windows of the airport.
Having arrived in Milan, I decided not to turn on the phone, I thought that it would be much more interesting, sat on the first bus that came across to Milan and hit the road. The bus from the airport to Milan costs only 8 euros, the buses have Wi-Fi, which is very convenient.
My hotel was near the central station, so I did not take a taxi and decided to take a walk.
Since my navigator did not work without the Internet, I asked passers -by how to get to the desired street. Italians practically do not speak English, but they are very friendly, so they tried their best to help me. The most important thing when talking with them is a smile, they love funny and open people very much. I was drawn almost to the door of the hotel and left there.
The hotel was very cool, the room was small, but very comfortable + the hotel was 10-15 minutes from the central square, where on the very first day he met a friend.
We went to the Museum of Modern Art. Museums in Milan are radically different from Moscow. The works that are exhibited seemed to me much more interesting to me, we spent 2 hours in the museum as it was insanely interesting.
I went back to the hotel, rested a little and went out to take a walk to the central square at night. Milan is also beautiful at night as in the afternoon. People on the streets are many times less, but despite this, the city still seems very lively and sincere. But I had to go to bed early, since the next day I planned to go to Komo Lake!
At 10 in the morning I went to the central station to buy tickets to Como. The ticket cost 4 euros, but the train departed from another station, I rolled onto the subway and, in full confidence that I did everything right, got on the train. Having drove 7 stations, the controller approached me and asked to show the ticket. It turned out that the tickets before entering the car must be pierced on your own, which, of course, no one warned me and I was awarded a fine of 47 euros. It was useless to argue, so I just paid a fine and went on.
I was not lucky with the weather, but Como looks amazing even in bad weather.
Having walked along the streets of the city and, having tried Italian Jalato, I took a ticket to a small boat to look at the surroundings.
The mood is to be sad, traveling in the company to such a romantic place would be many times more fun, but I was pleased that I could be alone with myself and just relax.
After walking on the water, I went back to Milan, first breaking a ticket, so as not to run into a fine again.
Milan met with rain and I decided to go to the local bar, very comfortable and colorful, I did not remember his names, but it was very cool and crowded, and the atmosphere was very family and warm.
In the bar, I remembered that I have a mission the next day a colorful to hide a gift for subscribers, I drank another glass of my beloved Old Fashioned and went to bed.
Finding a grocery store in Milan is another quest. A huge number of restaurants and eatery, but not a single grocery store. After an hour of festivities around the city, I found a wine store in which I bought a gift for subscribers. Then he wandered another hour to find a place where to hide it.
Already a day after the publication of the story with the laying of the gift, my subscribers found it.
After a walk around the city, I went to the airport, I was enough for two days to see everything that I wanted to see in Milan and at the same time get acquainted with wonderful people!
