In the Kudablin project, we send completely different people on traveling at our expense! Vera Churina visited Vienna: she received and gave us congratulations from tourists and residents of Vienna, found out where they prepare the best breakfasts in the city and felt the hero of the fairy tale. Read more – in her report!

Who said that there are no miracles? I officially declare that this is not so! December and @onetwotrip – clearly showed it to me and decided to send me to the special assignment under the project #Kudablin, but where I will go to solve you! One thing I can say that the Christmas mood in these cities is damn good! Well, we vote: 1. Brussels 2. Dresden 3. Vienna voting will last until 10.00 tomorrow Moscow time ooooh and I am worried

Good morning, dear ✨ Recently you sent me #Kudablin to Vienna and tomorrow I go to the special. The name that you choose again, so you choose one of the three options that I will have to do in Vienna: 1. Prepare and treat the locals of Olivier. 2. Collect 7 New Year congratulations from local residents for Russians with a photo or video report. 3. To fulfill someone’s Christmas desire. I’m already all worried about what you will choose and how I will do all this! Voting until tomorrow morning

The end of autumn and the beginning of winter is the period of magic in Europe. Big cities begin to resemble illustrations for children’s fairy tales, it smells of hot chocolate and cinnamon in the air. To go to the capital of Austria in the most Christmas season is a serious matter, a huge number of people on the street moving from one fair to another. It creates that you are in the center of the stream of infinitely replacing faces. But, this is the whole buzz. Everyone walks joyful, smiling, drinking fragrant mulled wine, communicate, congratulate each other.

Getting from the airport to the city is very simple: buy a train ticket, most importantly, take the S7 trains-they are the cheapest, and go about 20-25 minutes in time.

The Christmas Vienna amazes the scope of the celebration – one fair flows into another, from everywhere the smell of fried sausages and a punch, loud laughter and communication come from everywhere. For myself, I allocated some of the most memorable:

  • Vienna Christmas Fair on the Town Hall Square;
  • Christmas fair in Spittelberg;
  • Christmas Fair on Maria Teresia Square.

It was at the fair that I decided to “catch” people for congratulations. For the first thirty minutes I was crumbling and shy, I could not get together in order to get up to approach and speak, given the fact that my English is not on top. But everything went like clockwork! I saw a fun company and decided to approach them! The guys gladly agreed to wish us a “happy New Year” – it was very cool, fun and unusual. It is amazing that those to whom I approached did not refuse me. In fact, I did not expect this, I thought that people would be dumbfounded and would not want to say anything. Fortunately, I was mistaken and eventually got a lot of pleasant impressions.

And in Vienna it is simply impossible to remain hungry – the food here is incredibly tasty. I liked the most in two places:

  • Breakfasts from all over the world are served in the tea Haas & Haas right behind the Cathedral of St. Stefan. I advise this place to everyone. The menu presents more than 30 breakfast options that are served in accordance with the traditions of different countries.
  • Cafe Landtmann is the largest cafe in Vienna, there were Sigmund Freud, Paul McCartney and Hilary Clinton. There is amazing food, good service, live music in the evenings, and there is also the most delicious apple strudel.
