Are you wondering where to take the children on the holidays? Do you think that the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory are suitable? In fact, not all. They chose directions in Russia for you, where it will be truly comfortable with children.

Azov Sea: Yeysk and the village of Golubitskaya

How to get

It is most convenient to go by train to Yeysk – the cost of a ticket from Moscow in one direction starts at 2100 rubles*, on the road you will spend a little more than 24 hours.

There are no direct paths to the village of Golubitskaya – in any case it will be necessary to get through Anapa, and it is faster and cheaper to fly by plane (a ticket from Moscow and back in the summer costs from 6,000 rubles*). It is more convenient to take a taxi (about 1000 rubles*) or go by public transport with transfers: first by bus to Temryuk, and then to Golubitskaya on the minibus.

Where to live

Several options have been selected for you in each destination.

Golubitskaya:
Dolphin guest house – from 2400 rubles per night per person*;
Guest House Raduga – from 2400 rubles per night per person*.

Yeisk:
Hotel Komfort – from 1600 rubles per night per person*;
Hotel Babylon – from 3200 rubles per night per person*;

What to do

The Sea of Azov is an excellent option for relaxing with kids: it is a shallow, with a smooth, gentle entrance to the water and beaches with sand or small shells. We add to this many entertainment – from dolphinarium to the water park – and a good selection of housing (especially in the private sector). It turns out a good alternative abroad.

There are many resorts on Azov, but not everyone is suitable for trips with kids. For example, in Kuchugurs there is a rather strong current, and in Dolzhanka a little more the depth of the sea, and the infrastructure there is worse. It is best to go to Yeysk or the village of Golubitskaya with children.

Yeysk is a port city 180 kilometers from Rostov-on-Don. There is a cafe, and a lot of entertainment (oceanarium, dolphinarium, water park, children’s center, amusement park). The beaches are different – and pebble, and shells, and sandy, many of them are equipped. You can stop both in the private sector and in the hotel.

The village of Golubitskaya is a small and very green village 55 kilometers from Anapa. For children, the largest water park “Marine Reef” and a dolphinarium on the Sea of Azov. Adults can visit the Golubitskoye Lake with therapeutic mud – they say, and children are also possible, but with caution. And you should definitely get to the Akhtanizovsky estuary, where lotuses bloom from mid -July to the end of August.

Black Sea: Anapa and Gelendzhik

How to get

The most convenient on the plane is a ticket from Moscow to Anapa and back in the summer costs from 6,000 rubles*. In Gelendzhik, a little more expensive – from 7600 rubles*. The flights are direct, you will spend about two hours on the way.

Where to live

Several options have been selected for you in each destination.

Anapa:
Hotel Anapa Breeze – from 2510 rubles per night per person*;
Sport Resort – from 3500 rubles per night per person*;

Gelendzhik:
Hotel Favorite – from 2800 rubles per night per person*;
Hotel Central – from 2800 rubles per night per person*.

What to do

With the thoughts of the Black Sea, Sochi and Adler immediately come to mind – however, here with children it may not be too comfortable. In the vicinity of Sochi, the beaches are mostly pebble, many consider it a minus – especially if the children are very small. In addition, a vacation here can hardly be called budget. We recommend choosing less expensive resorts with landscaped sandy beaches. Anapa and Gelendzhik are considered the best recently.

In Anapa, children are traditionally brought to strengthen immunity and heal at sea: it is believed that the climate is healing, and due to low humidity, the heat is easily tolerated. Most of the beaches are perfectly equipped: there are sunbeds with umbrellas, and locker rooms, and traditional water entertainments. For children in the city there are two water park, circus, oceanarium, zoo and attractions. True, in the high season – that is, in July and August – in Anapa a lot of people, but you can settle in the vicinity, for example, in the villages of Vityazevo, Sukko or Dzhem. Public transport goes to the city from there.

Gelendzhik is located in a picturesque bay protected from the wind. It is very convenient with children here: there is the whole infrastructure and many entertainment-water park, safari park, museums. The beaches are sandy, but it is better to swim not in the city, but in small surrounding villages (Betta, Krinitsa, Janhot) – it is not so crowded and the water is cleaner.

Kaliningrad region: Curonian braid and village Yantarny

How to get

Conveniently and inexpensive by plane – a ticket from Moscow costs about 4700 rubles*. From Kaliningrad to the sea you can get by public transport or rent a car.

Where to live

It is most convenient to live in Kaliningrad and go to different beaches to the surrounding villages. Picked up several options for you.

Hotel Navigator – from 4200 rubles per night per person*;
Hotel “Academic” – from 2700 rubles per night per person*.

If thoughts about the Black or Azov Sea do not inspire, you can look towards the Baltic. Kaliningrad and the surroundings are difficult to compare with Turkey, it is rather a corner of Western Europe in Russia. But there is the only beach in the country that received a blue flag – an international award that is given for compliance with high quality and safety standards. Simply put, the water is clean, and the infrastructure is on top.

This beach is located in the village of Yantarny. This is a small green coastal settlement with pure air. They swim here only in good weather – when it is cloudy, there are large waves on the sea, but then on the shore you can look for a real amber. Most of the entertainment are also associated with sunny stone – a museum, a castle, a quarry near the city (you can even feel like a prospector there and excavate several stones as a gift in a special sandbox). There are several cafes, good hotels and tourist square in the village. In general, you should go here if you are interested in a calm quiet vacation without crowds of tourists. The very thing is with the kids, but older children can be boring.

Another iconic place in the Kaliningrad region is the Curonian braid. There are three equipped beaches – in the villages of Lesnoy and Rybachy and at the Dune camp site. There are umbrellas, sunbeds, cabins for changing clothes, cafes. The remaining beaches are wild – it is not very convenient with children, but very beautiful: white sand, dunes and bizarre curved “dancing” trees. From mid -July, you can swim in the Baltic Sea and in the bay with fresh water.

Karelia, Lake Ladoga

How to get

The best option would be to travel by car – so you can visit all interesting attractions and not depend on public transport or excursions. From Moscow to Sortavala about 10 hours on the road, to Petrozavodsk – 12 hours. The rental of cars on OneTwotrip will cost about 3600 rubles per day*.

The second is a fairly convenient option-to fly to St. Petersburg (a ticket to the aircraft is back and forth-from 2800 rubles*), and from there by train to the desired point. For example, in Sortavala you can get for 600 rubles*, on the way for about four hours.

Where to stop

Picked up for you options for living in Sortaval:
Riekkalansaari mini Hotel – from 3000 rubles per night per person*;
All Seasons – from 4000 rubles per night per person*.

What to do

Karelia is not quite a classic resort, rather a vacation in nature. But what nature! The edge of lakes and forests, a huge reserve with a beautiful climate. It is better to go here with older children who will be interested in fishing, walking in the forest for berries and mushrooms and traveling on excursions along the monuments of wooden architecture. There is also a zoogrin park with a children’s zoo and the rocky park “Snake Hill”. For children from 10 years old, alloys are organized on rivers. And the teenagers will probably be delighted with visiting the marble canyon of Ruskeal.

It is most reasonable to stay with children in one of the campsis or park hotels on the shore of Lake Ladoga. There are equipped beaches, and in July the water is already quite warm for bathing.

It is important to remember a few nuances: to take comfortable shoes and protection from insects, and also consider that in the summer in Karelia it is light almost round day (perhaps it is worth grabbing masks for sleeping or checking in the hotel if they have darkening curtains so that the children get enough sleep).
