Igor Tsibulsky (@igorcibulsky) was prepared by the guide to the suburbs of St. Petersburg! And for you to use it as soon as possible, in our telegram channel we play a discount on tickets to St. Petersburg, as well as to accommodate there.
Friends, hello. I live in St. Petersburg and from the bustle of urban everyday life I often rest in nature, namely, in the suburbs of our cultural capital. The surroundings of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region are rich in sights, so today I want to share with you one of my favorite routes – along the Gulf of Finland.
How to prepare for a trip
On this route, I usually drive a car and take only the most necessary. There are additional things and amenities in hotels in which I remain to spend the night. The only thing I would like to warn about: in the summer in these places there are a large number of mosquitoes – stock up on repellents. And, of course, the weather in St. Petersburg and its environs can be unpredictable, so even if the street is sunny, do not be too lazy to take warm things with you.
How to get to St. Petersburg
A ticket from Moscow to St. Petersburg will cost 3400 rubles* per person by one. A trip to Sapsan will cost 2300 rubles* one way per person.
Where to go and what to visit

First of all, we go aside Sestroretsklocated in the south of the Karelian Isthmus, in the resort area of ββSt. Petersburg. This city on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland is considered a resort, on its territory there are wells with mineral water and mud. Historical areas are also located here: Tarkhovka, Gorskaya, Spill, Aleksandrovskaya, Dunes, Resort.
In the immediate vicinity of Sestroretsk is the state natural reserve “Sestroretsky Swamp”. The largest specially protected natural territory of St. Petersburg. A closed ecological trail is held along the territory of the reserve, perfectly suitable for pleasant and unhurried walks.

Then we move along the lower Primorsky highway, walking along the coast of the Gulf of Finland to the side Ilya Efimovich Repin Museum “Penatia”. Being here, it seems that Ilya Efimovich is still living here, but now he just went for a walk – the interior is so accurately and realistically recreated and the atmosphere is transmitted. Next, you can take a walk along the picturesque surroundings of the manor house – in the forest zone and along the coast of the Gulf of Finland.

After a walk, go a bite. Nearby is the restaurant “Russian fishing” – a great place to take a breath a little.
Not far is a unique natural reservoir, Lake Shchuchye. The landscape of this area is original, since it is formed by a glacier. The territory is a specially protected area with an area of ββ1157 hectares and includes a spruce-horsepower taiga array with valuable sections of old spruce forests, the age of which reaches more than 150 years.

We return to the car and go to Lindulovsky grove. It is a natural reserve under the protection of UNESCO. This place was created for lovers of a quiet and secluded vacation – there are no entertaining objects in the grove, here you can walk, enjoying nature and clean air or arranging a small picnic. Rolling route, so for a walk you will be able to cover everything at once.

Stop at night at “Greenwald Park Scandinavia”here you can relax after a busy day surrounded by a beautiful nature. The houses are equipped with everything you need: a toilet, a shower, a mini-whip with dishes for four, a refrigerator, a microwave, a kettle. By the way, breakfast is included in the price. At the end of the day, you can walk around the territory and enjoy the sunset on Ilyichevsky Lake, located only 300 meters.

Get sprinkled well, have lunch and go to the next picturesque place – Cape Field. Long sandy beaches, placers of boulders, pine forest – this can be described. It is nice to walk here, dissolving in the surrounding nature.
Then we go to Ecohotel leslocated on the southern shore of Lake Mirror. There is no electricity or water supply. Candles, torches, wood stoves, a forest spring, a bathhouse on the shore of the lake and a clean untouched forest – everything that awaits you in this authentic place.

The third day we start with the city Primorsk. Its main attraction is Kirkha Holy Mary Magdalenelocated right on the shores of the Gulf of Finland.

I recommend that you take a walk around the church, enjoying the architectural beauty of the structure and the views of the bay.

In the afternoon we go aside Forest houses The Lagomwhere we spend the rest of the day off, enjoying complete silence and solitude. The complex also has everything you need for comfortable placement: two bathrooms, a kitchen-living room with a fireplace and a perfectly equipped area for cooking.

The next day we return home. On the way you can call in Family recreation and ecotourism park “Zadelnik”. A nursery where bison, ponies, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits and various birds live on the territory of the forest park in the village of Toksovo. The place is very pleasant. From the parking lot to the bison directly, the road goes through a beautiful coniferous forest, past the small house of Baba Yaga and the suspension bridge. Here you can have a bite and return home with a calm soul.

It may seem to you that I have collected too many places to visit as part of one weekend. However, all of them are located not far from each other, so in general the route is not complicated. I think you will like it. Thank you for your attention!
