The tropics are good place: always warm and therefore as if carefree. In a word, perfectly suitable for relaxation and rest – yes, that’s exactly the same, with a capital letter.
True, there is one harden – in the summer to tropical countries, it is as if not to go with a hand and even at general it is pointless. Too hot, too wet – only too much, even problems.
However, each rule has exceptions – Indonesian Bali in August – one of them. In other summer months, it is also very different from the “ordinary” tropical beach trends, but today is not about them.
Surprisingly, lying on the 8th degree of south latitude, that is, very close to the equator, the Indonesian island enjoys hot, but not suffocating weather all summer. He sees not so little rains, but clearly prefers to them clear weather.
In a word, it contrasts sharply both in comparison with the August Phuket, and, for example, Dubai. At the end of summer, you have to adapt to which resorts – let’s say softly – to some climatic features of an unpleasant property.
Weather at Bali in August
It is actually ideal. Suitable for both a romantic rest together, and trips to the sea of the whole family, not excluding young children.

About 30 € will be able to make a one-day round on Nusa-Penida. And approximately the same amount you lay out for transport and escort if you are going to admire giant stingrays on Manta Point. Individual offers (a private boat trip) will cost 90-100 €.
What to do
Now – about the pleasant, about, in fact, for which they go to Bali. After all, attractions and just beautiful places on the island – more than enough. And if you do not have enough impressions, you can always go not only to Nus Penida or Gili archipelago, but also a lot further.
For example, get to the island of Lombok and there, as a small path, rise to the Rinjani volcano, from the top of which fantastic views open. Active tourists see nothing complicated to get to the Bromo volcano in Java. Well, or even go to Komodo – it’s interesting to see fossil lizards live?!
However, at Bali itself, you will find how to diversify hotel-lane leisure. Well, for adults in such a short -lived month as August, you should definitely deal with trips to the main attractions.
In particular, you simply do not forgive yourself if you do not attempt to climb the Batur volcano. His fellow, Agung, on the contrary, is much more demanding on the condition of the ascenders.
The city of Ubud and the “Monkey Forest” are present in the list of “obligatory” places, also terraced rice plantations of Tegallang, waterfalls in the jungle. And a number of local Buddhist temples.
