In the Kudablin project, we send completely different people on traveling at our expense! Sofia Boretskaya visited Dubai and tells us about surfing on the velvens, the largest shopping center in the world and trains in the subway without driver.

Like all participants, I was given 3 cities to choose from, where I could go with #Kudablin. The city, which, by a large margin, won the vote among my subscribers – Dubai. What associations do you have the word “Dubai”? Arab sheikhs, skyscrapers and sand? You are not so far from the truth.

Many airlines fly from Moscow to Dubai. We have chosen the most budget option and flew by Flydubai. Fly for about 5 hours, so we stocked up by series and films during the flight. You can get from the airport to the city by metro, buses or taxi. We chose the third option and ordered the local Uber. All cars in the Dubai Uber of the Lexus ES brand. This trip cost us about 900 rubles (59 dirham). Our hotel was only 10 minutes from the airport. In the city, we decided to move by metro – on it you can easily get to the main attractions of Dubai. In the Dubai metro, there are only two branches – green and red, and tickets can be bought at the machine and at the checkout. Completed trains go to the subway, in which there are special wagons for women and children. If you are traveling from the old city towards Dubai Mall, I advise you to spend money and buy a “gold ticket” for travel: this will allow you to ride in the first VIP class car to see the famous Dubai skyscrapers.

On the first day, we went to Burj Khalifa to admire the view of the city. The skyscraper is located next to Dubai Mall. We bought tickets in advance in Moscow, it cost 440 dirham (about 6900 rubles) for two. The height of the Burge Halphus 828 meters is the highest building in the world! We climbed the 124th floor, from where an incredible view of the city opens. I sincerely advise you to rise there if you find yourself in Dubai. But the local aquarium is clearly overvalued: too many people, children, huge lines and few opportunities. If you want to get acquainted with the fish or go out of line, you will have to be pretty to spend money.

Skating in the dunes in the desert was the most exciting event for our entire trip! If you flew to Dubai, this is a mandatory program for you. The city itself is more about modernity, skyscrapers, constant construction, all kinds of entertainment, and the desert is a story, incredible emotions, loss of orientation in space and silence. Here you can learn a lot about Arab culture and enjoy the landscapes unfamiliar to this point. Safari in the desert is quite expensive, but there are different entertainment programs: we have chosen the one that includes riding jeeps on sandy velvens, sandboarding (snowboarding on sand dunes – approx. Ed.) And visiting the Beduinsky camp with an interesting program and authentic food. I am delighted with the views of the desert, so now I dream of repeating this adventure already in more marching conditions – to spend the night in the desert in the open air, for example!

My main task from the project was to ride on the board along the sand dunes. And I, as a person who never stood on any board, was scared to try. But everything turned out to be very cool and fun! I did not work out too masterfully from the dune, but I never fell! Now I think this is my little victory in life. Who knows, maybe I will decide to get a snowboard and learn to ride!

On the third day, we decided to make another sortie in Dubai Mall. What is a trip without shopping, right? Dubai Mall – a shopping center of incredible sizes! It contains a huge number of cafes, the aquarium that I wrote above, and a huge number of stores for different taste and wallet. We wandered around the shopping center until the evening and, in my opinion, bypassed only its small part! The discovery for me was the brand store & Other Stories, in which I wanted to stay to live – so cool he looked and so cool things were sold there! In the evening we went to eat in one of the local cafes on the street near Dubai Mall. While we watched the evening city, we realized that we would definitely return here again next winter. After all, to be transferred from winter to summer is always extraordinary sensations!

If you have more than 1000 subscribers in one of the social networks, participate in the Kudablin project, and we will send you to anywhere in the planet at our expense. Where you go and what will you do, your subscribers will decide.

Travels are closer than you think. Submit an application for participation in the Kudabin project, and perhaps you will go to the next adventure!
