I love Italy and everything that is connected with it! When Onetwotrip offered me the Italian mini-channels as part of the Kudablin project, I agreed immediately. Florence, Genoa or skiing? Most of my readers voted for Florence. And not surprising, because many want to return there again and again!

How to get to Florence from Moscow? There are no direct flights, there are options from Lufthansa with docks in Germany, Alitalia with docks in Rome or Milan, as well as direct flights to pies or Verona and then transplant to the train to Florence. In our case, the most inexpensive and convenient option was a flight through Germany immediately to the airport of Florence. They booked tickets in a mobile application, because there prices were 2000 rubles more profitable than on the site and in other search engines.

Florence airport is very small and is a 20 -minute drive from the city. From there to the center you can get by taxi for 20 euros or by bus for 6 euros. We chose the bus – its final stop was very close to our hotel. Housing in Florence is quite inexpensive. The double room at The Alba Palace Hotel with breakfast and a round-the-clock snack bar by us at 100 euros for 2 nights. I recommend this place – for a three -star hotel everything turned out to be fine!

We had 2 full days to enjoy the beautiful Florence and complete the ONETWOTRip task. We needed to make 10 selfies with Italians against the background of the main attractions. Not the simplest task, given that it is not so easy for me to approach a stranger and ask him to take a picture. It was pleased that the Italians are very open and friendly, and, having tuned in to the right wave and remembering all their skills in sales, I did it! It turned out that the most difficult thing is to start. After the first time, all other photos were easier. This task gave the trip that very unique “zest”!

What to see in Florence in 2 days? The city has a lot of sights, museums, galleries. It is best to download an offline guide and just start a walk in the center. In every third house there was something interesting and important for the city. Duomo’s Cathedral, Campani Giotto, Baptisteria, the Santa Maria del Fjor Church, Signoria Square, Santa-Croce Basilica, Ufitszi Gallery, Palazzo-Pitti, Boboli Gardens-only part of the beauty that should be seen. We went to the Palazzo -Velesko, appreciated the luxurious decoration inside and went up to the observation deck to admire magnificent views. Fashion is my great hobby and part of the work, so the Gucci Museum and the Ferragamo Museum were required to visit. Very interesting expositions that are not similar to each other. I can’t choose which I liked it more – I recommend visiting both museums!

Toward evening, it’s time to take a walk to the Ponte-century bridge. From there, a wonderful view of the city opens, and along the bridge there are numerous jewelry stores, leading their history since the time of the Medici. On Sunday, we accidentally came across an atmospheric flea market at the church of Santo-Spitirit. There was little time, but I managed to grab several vintage jewelry at a bargain price. The goods there are diverse – you can find interior items, furniture, inexpensive things, or you can vintage Chanel bag for 450 euros.

To find the most delicious food, leave the main tourist streets and look into the lanes. It is there, in small cafes, that you can find truly tasty and inexpensive pizza, paste, lasagna and magnificent Italian coffee.

Florence fascinates with the beauty of architecture, narrow streets and a creative atmosphere. This is a city where you want to return and enjoy everything that surrounds you.
