Hello! I am Lena Fencik (@nastenkino_menu). This summer I managed to fulfill my old dream. Thanks to the Kudablin project, I visited Altai.
How to get to Altai
The most convenient option is the plane in Gorno-Altaysk. From Moscow, fly in 4 hours. The cost of tickets-from 10,000 rubles* per person is back and forth.
Immediately upon arrival, I took the car for rent and went to conquer unknown lands. I really wanted to have time to see more, and the distances were unlocked.
Where to stay on Altai
In general, on the trip you can find housing at a price of 500 rubles* per night. In the region there are hotels of different price categories.
The island of Patmos
It all started with a small island of Patmos. It is a rock with steep walls on the Katun River. The only option to get on it is on the suspended bridge. It’s insanely beautiful here.
On the first day of time, there was not much left, so I settled in a capsule hotel, gain strength before the morning trip along the Chui tract.
Pass Chike-Taman
Another stop on the trip was the Chica-Taman pass. The name is translated as “flat (straight) sole.” This place is a monument of nature of republican significance related to specially protected objects. ⠀
Upstairs there is an observation deck, from where the views of the rocks of the Terektinsky ridge opens. Types are fascinating. You can also drink coffee here and buy souvenirs. Mountains are mastered. All amenities are present, which, you see, is also important.
Chui-ooz
The next paragraph was the famous confluence of the Chui and Katun rivers, which is located 714 km of the Chui tract. The place itself is called Chui-ooz, which is translated-the mouth of the Chui. This is, in fact, a sacred place for local residents. The thing is that the waters of the river Katun are crystal-clean, but the color of the Chui river is muddy-white, and it is at this mouth that the Katun River is painted in the whitish waters of the Chui. Such a complete acceptance and merging with the elements. The sight, of course, is fascinating. Being here, you catch yourself thinking that you don’t want to leave anywhere. Just sit and admire this bewitching beauty.
Geyseric lake
The next miracle of nature, which I managed to see with my own eyes, was the geyser lake located 6 km from the village of Aktash at the foot of the North Chuysky ridge. It is also called blue or silver because of bizarre patterns that occur on the water due to sources beating below. You can’t swim there, and the depth is only two meters. The reservoir does not freeze all year round, even at a temperature below zero degrees due to clay, it is not even covered by holes. Watching this miracle of light is true pleasure. The lake has become for me a place of power. I was very charged from this magic of nature.
Impressions of the trip to Altai
It seems to me that I have never had such a vacation in my life: half-wild mountain horses, wild mountain flowers, an amazing color of the sky against the background of majestic mountains … If you want to relax with your soul and body, make a complete reboot and leave the most warm memories in your heart-it is better to altai and come up with something difficult.
And on the terms of the trip, I completed the task for which my subscribers voted. It was necessary to come to the stone museum and persuade the employees to accept my stone in the collection.
And what do you think? I did it! Despite the fact that she arrived just an hour before the closure. I put the pebble on the shelf and, pleased with the task completed, went to the airport, go home!
