How to get
It is most convenient to get to Yalta with a transplant in Simferopol: in the beach capital of Crimea there is no airport or a railway station. There are no direct flights to Simferopol now, so only the train remains of the options. For example, the branded Tavria, the next of both capitals.

Mark Eremin: Volcano Ebeko

The Ebeko volcano is a valid volcano on the island of Paramushir. True, the last largest eruptions occurred in 1934-1935. After them, one of the three craters was filled with water, and the lake was formed hotter. Since 2016, Ebeko periodically (once per hour!) “Pykh”, throwing ash and gas.
In general, the small and large Kuril ridge is 56 islands stretching from Kamchatka to the Japanese Island of Hokkaido. Only four of them are populated from them: Paramushir, Kunashir, Iturup and Shikotan.
Paramushir – One of the northernmost islands of the ridge, surrounded by cliffs and islands smaller with funny names. For example, there are cliffs with a dick, islands of smoke, a chick and a bazaar. Numerous bird colonies nest there.
Kunashir It is easily recognized thanks to its highest peak – the volcano of the priest. He has the right cone crowned with a wide crater – right in the geology textbook.
On Iturup There are 20 volcanoes, of which almost half are acting. Here is one of the highest and most inaccessible waterfalls in the country: 141-meter Ilya Muromets can only be seen from the side of the ocean.
Shikotan – The smallest in this four. There are no bears on it, but there are seals and cape with the speaking name of the End. Mostly tourists are coming here. We have a chicotan guide – look if wildlife inspires you worse than civilization.
How to get
For a visit to the Kuril Islands, you will need a pass to the border zone. You can order it through the “State Services” portal – leave a request in at least two weeks. You need to get to the southern Kurils (Iturup, Kunashir, Shikotan) through Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and Paramushir as part of the northern smokers through Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Further scripts differ. For example, an Iturup can be reached by plane from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk or swim on a ship. It is easier to get to Paramushir on the ship “Hipanis” or fly – but already by helicopter.
