Grassing of the Devil of the Waterfall Iguasu
The most important and most famous waterfall of the Iguas complex is “Devil's sip”. Just imagine this grandiose spectacle: the most powerful streams of water about 150 meters wide are broken from a height of 82 meters and form the famous horseshoe. Now imagine what a noise is worth it! The power of the waterfall is so great that it is constantly surrounded by a huge cloud of spray.
The origin of the waterfall
The Waterfall of the Devil appeared after the eruption of the volcano when a huge crevice formed. Water comes here at once from three sides. In the rainy season (from December to March), the waterfall is gaining its full strength and looks most impressive. But, from April to September, the weather becomes the most favorable and you can not be afraid to get wet under the storm rains. Although, when visiting the waterfall, you still no doubt get wet. Especially if you decide to take an excursion on a boat that swims to the very center of the throat of the devil. Take care of the equipment and put on light clothes, which after this unforgettable adventure will be able to dry quickly while walking around the national park. The Brazilian part of this impressive waterfall is called Salto Floriano, which translates as a jump of flowers.
Iguas National Park
Flora and fauna adjacent to the waterfalls of the Iguas National Park also deserves attention. Numerous tropical plants that grow only here, as well as extraordinary animals will make you plunge into the atmosphere of real jungle. And funny animals of nosukhi willingly come to contact with people and can even be treated with goodies, for example, chips.
