Hello! My name is Yana (@yasenkaas), and I want to tell you about my magical journey to the cozy city of Voronezh.

I decided to start this story from exactly the moment when everything happened – from the onetwotrip response to my application and suggestions to choose three cities. Among the options was he – Voronezh! And I have a dream from the age of 14 – to visit this city, because there is a street that is consonant with my last name, although it is not so common.

The city was chosen by my audience, and on December 15 I went from Yekaterinburg to Voronezh. I rarely fly, so I can hardly be called a frequent traveler. Therefore, everything that happened, fascinated and surprised to goosebumps. Even on the plane, magic happened – I sat near the porthole, watched the sky and managed to catch the sunset before our aircraft sank into the clouds and landed.

I flew in the evening and immediately settled in the hotel. The hotel is located in the city center, and all interesting places are in walking distance, so I most often walked on foot. On the day of arrival, the forces were only to go to the store for food and take a little walk around the environs.

So, about my task: the audience chose the following – to visit the five most interesting institutions of Voronezh. Spoiler: I visited a lot of places and honestly, I liked them all. Therefore, I’ll tell you briefly about everyone.

The next day, December 16, began with a trip to the Alpak Park El Paco, which you probably heard or even visited at least once. The most interesting thing is the concept of a place. Everything is done here in the style of the Wild West: the mini-town has its own sheriff (mountain bull from Scotland), and the corns are made in the style of western.

In the park I was met by a very friendly staff, it was immediately noticeable how the guide loves these animals. So! A little about the Alpak themselves.

Firstly, they are a little afraid of people and most trust the kids. You can stroke these charm only during feeding with carrots. It is not recommended to approach the alpaks from behind, there is a great chance that they will begin to spit (yes, imagine?). They are very cute, soft and warm, so I wanted to take one of them with them. In general, the park impressed me greatly with its atmosphere and kindness!

When the tour was over, it is time to call a taxi back to the hotel. But I could not order it, because no one wanted to go out of town. How did I get out of this situation? I asked a woman with a child to give me a lift. And she was madly glad that she was not refused: good people simply threw someone else’s girl to the city. Also a kind of magic.

After the park, I went to wander around the city. I wanted to take a walk to Admiralty Square and see the first Russian battleship – “General Predestination”. In general, this place is one of the main attractions. The square delighted me with its scale!

Unfortunately, I did not get into the ship-museum (it was too late), so I decided to have dinner. Of all the establishments, I liked the cafe-bar with the author’s cuisine-Justbar & Kitchen. In the evenings, the guys in the cafe light candles and turn off the lamps. For me, as for a huge lover of candles, this was a real pleasure.

When I left, I told the staff that I was participating in the ontwotrip project. The guys left me a memorable gift – the Just Bar & Kitchen icon, with the words: “So that you will definitely return to Voronezh!” After that, I walked a little more and went to the room inspired by the people of this city.

December 17. The day when my little dream came true. The morning began with the fact that I did not have time to eat in the hotel (I had breakfasts), so I decided to go to the coffee shop – a “circle”. How I liked it! For the first time I saw such an interesting and authentic place. You just look at this interior.

After I went to fulfill my dream – to look for Dubyansky Street.

When I was in place, I immediately began to search for a index plate and … imagine, I found it! I never felt such happiness inside. Here it is when your little dream comes true.

I asked a passer -by woman to photograph me. She was very surprised, but I said that my surname is Dubyanskaya, so it is very important for me.

In the evening, I met with a girl signed on my blog, and we went to look at the Christmas tree, who broke several records: the world – by the number of jewelry (1401 toys) and Russian – by the number of lights (there are 74136!).

December 18. The extreme date of my journey. On this day, I decided to just take a walk along the Revolution Avenue, and in the evening, before the departure, I had a booted master class in the Pottery School “Bell”.

I evicted at 12:00, left the bag in the hotel storage room and went for a walk. Once on the square, the first thing to go to the monument to the dog – the Beloma Bimo Black Ear, which is located next to the jester doll theater.

He rubbed his ear and went to study another interesting and authentic place – the Gastromemark “Commune”. This is a space uniting kitchens from around the world – you can find a dish for every taste!

Then I continued a walk along the Revolution Avenue. Of the interesting places here is the Annunciation Cathedral. It was made in the Russian-Byzantine style and very surprised me with its decoration and grandeur.

You can take a walk near the cathedral in a small park. Unfortunately, I did not get inside.

Then I walked along the Victory Square, read the history of hostilities in the city. This, by the way, is one of the beautiful viewing Voronezh. The evening was already approaching, I returned to the hotel to pick up the bag, and called a taxi to the pottery school. In the “Bell” she went to a master class called Human, the whole team of potterders very warmly and friendly met me.

A master class is a special admiration! While working with clay you forget about everything. About what worries you, what bothers you … You relax and plunge into work with this pleasant natural material. This is incredible! I highly recommend at least once to get into a master class on clay modeling in the Bell studio (as I understand it, they are in different cities) and feel it all on yourself.

Then I went to the airport.

During the flight, by the way, a miracle happened again! The aircraft was not filled, and after we gained height, I found free places and again sat down on the porthole. As a result, I will say that a huge number of times repeated the word “magic”, but it really was it! My cooperation with Onetwotrip, everything that happened during this trip, the people who met me in Voronezh – this was definitely my little miracle.

Thank you very much onetwotrip and my manager hope for warm words and constant support! I hug, Yana.
