Probably, in the world there is not a single person who does not dream of getting to Hawaii, with the exception of, of course, the lucky ones who were born there. The whole charm of this paradise is that no matter how colorful pictures your imagination draws, reality will be so surpassed by expectations that after Hawaii it will be simply impossible to surprise you with the beauty of tropical nature and ocean. Today we will talk about the most beautiful beaches and coasts of the island of Oahu.

The island of Oahu is the one on which the capital of Hawaii is located in the city of Gonolulu. In the afternoon, it can be called the usual spa metropolis: 40-story hotels, shopping centers and a long beach, part of which are occupied by surfers, and the other is separated by wave cutters and given to swimwear. But at night, Honolulo is transformed: all the streets are lit not with lanterns, but by real torches with living fire, and a breathtaking view of the luminous city and its reflection in the ocean are opened from the beach. Here it is definitely worth stopping at least the 20th floor, rent a car with an open top and go to the island.
The Hanaumi bay on the southeastern coast of Oahu is the most popular shocking beach (a type of swimming under water with a mask and a breathing tube). He is enclosed in a rocky volcanic ring with a small strait to the ocean. A narrow path leads from a sandy beach to a rock, and if you go through it to the end, you can see a natural bridge made of stone, which runs directly above the raging waves. Walking on it, however, is not recommended, since an unexpectedly rolled large wave can be knocked down from you, so it is better to admire the safe distance.
Incredibly beautiful beach with dazzling white sand is called the consonant with the famous liquor – Cali. The ocean there is completely amazing, from the shore it looks like milk was painted in blue, but it is worth going at least an ankle, it turns out that the water is absolutely transparent, but it just resembles fresh milk with a temperature. The beach opens an amazing view of the volcano, and here you can rent a kayak and swim to a small flat island 400 meters from the shore. Take shoes with you, as it is allowed to walk only along the acute rocky edge of this island, while its center is given at the disposal of nesting birds.
If you like to dive into the water, there are quite a lot of rocks hanging over the bays on the oah. Including China Volz, that is, Chinese walls located near the southern point of the island. In the days when the ocean is calm, you can jump into the water from the cliff from several levels, higher and lower. If the waves are large, the jumps become too dangerous, but you can observe surfers from an unusual and very interesting angle. Everything looks like filming from a drone, but only live when the heart freezes from the understanding that one wrong movement – and a person with a board will fly directly into the stones.
Everything in Hawaii seems so magical that, looking at the ocean, it is easy to believe in the existence of mermaids. They would even have their own house – mermaid caves. The rock on the western shore of the beach park Nanakuli is permeated with a network of tunnels, in the arches of which there are quite a lot of small holes. Sun rays break through through them, highlighting water and decorating the walls of the cave with sun bunnies. The depth of the bay and the height of the arches are small, just under human height, so in anticipation of mermaids you can spend at least all day, and it does not matter that they probably will not come.

All surfing stars come here to compete for the title of world champion, and the action takes place on the most dangerous and powerful wave of the island. The event is more than interesting even for those who are far from surfing.
